Mattiello: “I’m happy to have scored but the win was the most important thing”

Federico Mattiello spoke following the match in which he scored the opening goal:

“I’m happy to have scored my first goal in Serie A but the three points are the most important thing and we needed them, we were looking for a spark and it came today. We played the perfect match and had to in order to get a result against a side of Roma’s calibre. It’s a win that boosts our morale, on Wednesday we’ll go to Turin in the knowledge that we’ll be up against a very strong opponent but we’ll look to approach the game with the same attitude that we showed today. I want to thank our fans who have always been close to us at the start of the season and we could always feel their support.”
