Taider: “We could have won without the red card”
These were Saphir Taider’s thoughts after today’s home defeat to Genoa. “It’s true that the red card was key because we were tired playing as ten even though we were still dangerous, especially in the second half. Genoa were able to score on the only real chance they had. We managed the ball better and imposed the style of play, giving everything that we had. It’s a shame because we could have won had we been in eleven. We are professionals and there’s no point in complaining. Unfortunately that’s how it went and we have to get over this result, learn from the mistakes and go again so that we are ready after the international break.”
