Art and football come together in a project blending creativity and solidarity
Bologna FC 1909 presents a project born from the meeting of contemporary art and football, with the aim of celebrating shared values such as participation, identity, and a sense of belonging.
A solo exhibition by Marco Adamo gave rise to a collaborative journey involving the Club and players Federico Bernardeschi, Lorenzo De Silvestri, and Riccardo Orsolini in an original artistic performance. The project revolves around the creation of a unique artwork made through the artist’s signature gesture, striking a paint-filled football, reinterpreted artistically with the involvement of the players.
The project was developed through a blend of visual storytelling and multimedia production, documenting the encounter between artist and footballers with professional video content.
The final artwork was exhibited at the SimonBart Gallery in Bologna and became part of a charitable project: a dedicated QR code activated a public fundraising campaign in support of Bimbo Tu, allowing anyone to contribute with a voluntary donation. At the end of the project, the artwork was donated to Bologna FC 1909.
