Nicolò Casale’s post-match reaction

Nicolò Casale reflected on the victory after the final whistle: “Winning at San Siro is a fantastic feeling. We only had a few days to prepare for this game, but we wanted to build on our win at Cagliari, and we managed to do that. We knew we’d be under pressure, and going into half-time behind could have knocked our confidence. But we stayed patient, AC Milan started to tire a little, and we took advantage. Palladino has done a great job of bringing out that extra bit of quality in the squad, something we perhaps lacked at the start of this season but had shown in previous years. We did well to put his instructions into practice on the pitch. This is just the start, and I think we can achieve plenty more.”
