Inzaghi: “We played a great game”

Filippo Inzaghi after picking up his first league win with Bologna after this afternoon’s 2-0 triumph over Roma:

“I want to start with our fans. They were extraordinary as always, I’ve been speechless since I’ve been here and I wouldn’t have expected this to be their attitude. This win is for them, we were able to get it by playing the perfect game, I’m happy for my players because they realised today that they have the ability. I’m happy for them all and especially those who’ve played less so far, Nagy, Krejci, Svanberg and Calabresi. They all had great games and this makes me hopeful for the future. It’s also a big result for this club but let’s remember that we’ve still not done anything and Juventus are waiting for us on Wednesday. However, I know how we work and I base my decisions on this. Again today, we put in the effort for the shirt, we made the most of some good fortune and we were ruthless. The only negative, when you have the chance to make it 3-0, you need to take it.”
