Happy Birthday Mirko Pavinato!

Today is a day that is particularly special for those who are connected to the Rossoblu, as Mirko Pavinato celebrates his 83rd birthday. Captain of the Bologna side that previously secured the Scudetto back in 1964, Pavinato was born in Vicenza on June 20th 1934.

As a left-back, Pavinato donned the Bologna shirt for a total of 10 seasons from 1956 to 1966, making a total of 297 appearances in the process (264 in Serie A, one in a play-off, 13 in the Coppa Italia, three in the European Cup, two in friendlies and 14 in the Mitropa Cup).

Other than lifting the 1964 Scudetto, Mirko also helped his team triumph in the Mitropa Cup in 1961. Happy Birthday Captain!
