Post-match reactions to Bologna vs. Monza
Lukasz Skorupski spoke to DAZN after the game: “After Wednesday’s win at San Siro, this was a tougher game because it was an important test for us. We wanted to build on that result and win at home. I don’t feel like a hero for saving the penalty; the credit goes to the whole team. We all stepped onto the field hungry to win, and we deserve credit for playing as a team. Now we’ll get some rest before turning our attention to the away game against Parma. We want to keep this run of results going.”
Nicolò Cambiaghi spoke after the game: “It was important for us to win in front of our fans today. They deserve it, and so do we as a team. You should never give up, because every ball can make a difference. We’re a team that never gives up, and we showed that even in the toughest moments. As for the national team, I hope to remain part of the squad, but I’m not thinking about that right now. It’s important to take things one step at a time.”
Raffaele Palladino on the win against Monza: “I couldn’t wait to hear our songs at the Dall’Ara with the team celebrating in front of the Curva. I even stopped to enjoy the moment alongside the coaching staff. I want to praise two players who I thought were the best on the field today: Skorupski and Odgaard. Once again, Odgaard did an incredible job for the team. The only thing missing is a goal, but that will come soon. I’m really impressed with him.”
Tommaso Pobega had this to say: “Scoring is always a great feeling, especially when it comes in a win. It was a tough game, and after beating Milan, we wanted to build on that result. We knew Monza play with a lot of intensity and focus on winning their duels, so we were prepared for that kind of challenge and approached the game with concentration and discipline. I feel comfortable playing alongside Lewis, just as I do with all my teammates. We have plenty of quality in midfield, everyone who steps onto the field gives their all, and I know I can build a good understanding with any of them. Palladino is trying to bring back the freedom and self-confidence we had in previous years. We have a strong group, and if we keep working hard, we can achieve some great things together.”
