“During the week, the gaffer told us to be more practical. He wanted to see a more clinical team and we were. We took an early two-goal lead, dictated the game well and we’re happy with the three points and for the big win. We were completely respectful of Spezia; we wanted to limit their game and we benefited from them playing with quite a high line. A mention for Svanberg: he has both great physicality and technique, the archetypal modern footballer. He’s becoming a great weapon for us.
