Centro Bologna Clubs to reenact the 1937 Bologna vs. Chelsea final on Saturday

Centro Bologna Clubs and the Associazione Percorso della Memoria Rossoblù will stage the historical reenactment of the 1937 final in Paris between Bologna and Chelsea. The seven-a-side game will take place at the Umberto Nobile stadium in Casalecchio di Reno on Saturday 10th June (kick-off at 16:00 CEST). A team of former BFC players and one of managers from the current BFC youth system will take to the pitch in historical kits. The Paris Expo Trophy, won in 1937 by Arpad Weisz’s team, will be put on display to mark the occasion. Entrance is free and the first 200 spectators will also receive a special souvenir to mark the match. The kits will then be sold at auction and all revenues donated for maintenance of the Maurizio Cevenini at Croce di Casalecchio.
