This season’s new shirts
Bologna Fc 1909 and its long-standing sponsor Macron are proud to present the new home and away kits that the squad will wear for the forthcoming season. The shirts have kept some traditional features, but at the same time have a contemporary and innovative look inspired by the world of fashion. The club continues to work with our main sponsor in supporting environmental and sustainability issues using an Eco-friendly fabric, made from recycled plastic, for the kit’s production.
The new home shirt once again has four red and blue vertical stripes, that are slightly larger than those on last year’s shirt. The divided lines between the colours are not clear cut but blend in together thanks to a small, faded red and blue graphic line pattern. On the upper back part of the shirt is an outline of the European Central Cup that the club won exactly 90 years in 1932, becoming the first Italian club to win an international competition.
The V-neck and backneck are in the club colours, marked with the words “LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA” (the Club that makes the world tremble). The main design featured on the front and sleeves is a graphic of the acronym BFC, taken from the club badge, that gives it a fashionable look. On the left breast in a silicone print is the Bologna FC 1909 badge, and on the right the Macron Hero design. The kit is completed with white shorts with a red and blue band on the bottom rim. This same design is also present on the upper rim of the dark blue socks, where BOLOGNA is written in the centre in white above the Macro Hero logo.
The away kit also has a fashionable, innovative design. The shirt is white with a red and blue V-neck collar, with the sleeve cuffs having the same lining. Once again, the main design pattern is the BFC acronym. On the upper, back part of the shirt, the club’s motto “WE ARE ONE” is written in blue; on the right breast is the Macron Hero logo in blue, and the club badge on the left. Completing the away kit are blue shorts, with a red and blue band on the bottom rim, and white socks with the same coloured bands on the top edge.
The two new 2022/23 kits have a comfortable Body Fit design. The main material used is an eco-friendly fabric, named EcoSirenaLight, with an Eco-micromesh panel on the back that makes the tops lighter and more breathable.
