The comments of Thiago Motta following the first win of the season:

“Giovanni Fabbian gets his goal, this is important because it’s what gave us the three points tonight. We expected Cagliari to be closed off, we did what we needed to do, however, we weren’t perfect in the final third, especially in the first half. The second half was better, we created chances and concentrated well. I have great trust in our boys, we have a young squad, but their ambition and willpower are more important than age. Joshua is a fantastic player who works really hard, he’s starting to gain the respect of the fans and the trust of the coaches and the Club. In the first two games, he did very well too, even if he didn’t score.”
