Motta’s post-match comments
Thiago Motta spoke on the draw at the Stirpe: “We are not happy, we played to win today but in was in vain. The performance was good against a side that fights hard, there was the chance to walk away with 3 points but we didn’t manage it. I think we deserved to win as we had the better chances, but in this game, dangerous movements need to be finished well and we were missing this. Zirkzee? Joshua played well again today, I am happy with him and Santiago who was even closer to scoring”.
