Selenella, Bologna’s new Back Jersey Partner
Bologna and Selenella’s partnership is continuing for a third consecutive year that will see the company as Back Jersey Partner. The Selenella logo will appear on the back of the Rossoblù shirt for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Selenella is a consortium made up of producers, co-operatives and operators in the province of Bologna with the aim of promoting the local production of potatoes. The consortium, which represents the industry’s excellence from producers to buyers, includes, as of today, ten associates, who head 320 producers from all over Italy, mainly from the Emilia-Romagna region. Selenella is a leader in the potato industry holding 20.1% of market share.
“We are renewing once again our support for Bologna Fc 1909, as a sign of our continuing interest in developing our brand and projects for the consortium,” explained Massimo Cristiani, President of the Selenella-Consortium Italian Potatoes of Quality. “This sponsorship is an opportunity for us to further promote our name to a wider audience, emphasing, particularly to the younger generation, the beliefs and principles of good nutrition, that are seen in our high-quality products from Italian companies, who we can promote through this precious collaboration”.

During the upcoming season, the Selenella logo will also be visible on our virtual advertising pitch-side banners, a new form of comunication that the Club introduced last year.
