SANTI CASTRO’S THOUGHTS AFTER THE MATCH

Santiago Castro spoke after the loss:

“It’s a shame because we put in a good performance, we didn’t deserve to draw. We created a lot of chances, while Lazio had very few shots on target but still managed to take it to penalties. We know that we’ve been poor for the past two months; despite some strong efforts, the results just aren’t coming. We need to give more, fight and work together – we have to get out of this slump. Progress in Europe motivates us, but first we have to focus on the league. On Sunday we’ve got a tough match against a team that, like us, needs points.”
