Remo Freuler’s post-match comments

Remo Freuler spoke following the game: “We played against a strong side, a leader in the league for many years and at the end we came out on top, we are happy. We believed right until the end, playing with the right ideas which made the difference. Europe is close by? The league is long: we need to stay with our feet on the ground and think of each game as they come. This was a particularly moving game for me given my history at Atalanta. This evening it was important to win and get three points, we are a good group where everyone works well and wants to win, we have clear ideas. The fans create an incredible atmosphere at the Dall’Ara! Now we will make the most of the win, we and the fans will have a good Christmas, on Tuesday we will be back in training because we want to play another big game against Udinese”.
