Mihajlovic’s post-match thoughts

Coach Mihajlovic spoke to DAZN after the final whistle:

“There’s nothing for me to comment on. We’ll accept criticism, we’re embarrassed by this performance and we’d like to apologise to the fans and to the club. We failed to make a game of it, and I’m disappointed about that: we need to make sure we’re all on the same page about what we’re trying to do in the long term, and come to some decisions ahead of next year. If it’s enough for us to fiinsh mid-table and secure our Serie A safety before the final stages of the season, then we can keep going as we are, but if we want something more, then we’ve got to make some changes. After tonight that’s clear to everyone. For better or for worse, tonight was the wake-up call we needed.
