Kasius to Bologna

Bologna Fc 1909 can confirm that they have acquired defender Denso Kasius from F.C. Utrecht on a permanent deal.

The fifth Dutch player in the history of Bologna, Kasius is a right-footed wingback born in 2002. After three seasons in the Eerste Divisie (the Dutch second division), in which he showed off his physical fitness, speed, crossing ability as well as his constant threat in the attack and his eye for goal. After a taste of professional football with Utrecht’s junior team, a year ago he went on loan to Volendam, a club from the small coastal town of the same name not far from Amsterdam. He is distinguishing himself (still only at the age of 19) as one of the most interesting prospects in his role. In the current championship, with the team at the top of the standings, he has been on the field as a starter in all 21 matches and has already scored 5 goals, including a spectacular right-footed volley in the victory over Nac Breda and the longshot in the 4-4 draw in the second half of their match against Ajax.

As of January 2022, he will move to the Rossoblù on a permanent basis.
