Happy Birthday Gianluca Pagliuca!

It’s a special day for Bologna as local former player Gianluca Pagliuca turns 50 today! He made 270 appearances for the club between 1999 and 2006 and goes down as one of the best Italian goalkeepers and one of the best around in the early 1990s. He is fifth in the all-time Serie A appearance charts (also representing Sampdoria, Inter and Ascoli) and he appeared in three World Cups and two Olympic Games. In total, he played for Italy 39 times. He is currently the Primavera’s goalkeeping coach. Happy Birthday to Gianluca from everyone at the club!
