Vincenzo Italiano had this to say at the end of Bologna v Udinese: ‘We had a moment when we didn’t manage to regain possession and come out of our half cleanly: that’s how the penalty and then their goal from a corner came about. It’s a pity because it’s two points lost at home but I’m still happy for the good week of work and the excellent performance from the boys. It’s never easy in the first league game, I’m even positively surprised because Bologna created a lot and conceded almost nothing. We just need more poise up front. Congratulations however to the Udinese goalkeeper for his series of important saves.
