Valmora the new official water of Bologna

Acqua Valmora is the official water of Bologna FC 1909 for the 2020/21 season. The Gruppo Pontevecchio Acque Minerali’s decision to stand at the Club’s side comes in a particularly difficult moment for the economy and for football, which has begun the new season with games being played behind closed doors. So for this reason, choosing to invest in sport is even more significant.

Acqua Valmora will supply the first team and youth sector with the purity of alpine mineral water for every training session and match.

“We’re particularly satisfied with this new sponsorship in the world of football and to partner with an historic Club, which is beloved by the fans and the whole city of Bologna. The partnership amplifies our ambition to link our brand with sport, in which we believe due to both its values and its importance in terms of health and lifestyle,” said Mario Damilano, president of the Gruppo Pontevecchio. “Beyond this sponsorship, Valmora is the official water of the Giro d’Italia, the Italian Open tennis – which was just played in Rome – and is present in many other sports, such as: basketball, volleyball and running.”

The Valmora brand will be present pitchside with advertising on both dug-outs at the Dall’Ara, as well as visibility as “Official Partners” on the Club’s channels throughout the course of the season. This sponsorship will also be a chance to bring awareness to the critical topic that is environmental sustainability. In fact, Valmora will present their new “Recyclable” 33 cl bottle, which will be completely branded with the Rossoblù colours and will be distributed in the hospitality sections at home games and also as part of promotions throughout the city.

“We’re really happy that a brand as presitgious and well-known as Acqua Valmora has chosen to link their own name to the Rossoblù. Valmora has always had a close connection to sport and the company’s values are perfectly in line with those of our Club,” declared Christoph Winterling, Bologna’s Marketing and Commercial Director.

Valmora’s presence alongside Bologna comes as part of the #noisiamoitalia (we are Italy) project, which was launched in May 2020 to ensure Italy is ready to emerge from the COVID crisis.
