“We knew that a strong side were coming here; they won on matchday 1. During the week, we studied them and we knew their weaknesses. We approached the first half well and knew, like German sides do, that they’d be physical, but we matched them. We took the lead, and I’m happy with my first Europa League goal. We didn’t play well in the second half and conceded to a penalty, which shook us. We had plenty of time to restore our lead but couldn’t do it. We move on to Sunday and the league.”
