Skorupski’s post-match thoughts

This is what Skorupski had to say in the mixed zone:

“It was an almost perfect performance. After the match, the Coach said that we all played well. Coming into the game, Roma were having a difficult spell, but they have a lot of quality and a good Coach. We prepared well during the week, we help the youngsters out on the pitch and don’t give an inch. We want to keep this up: by picking up points in every game we can have a great end to the season. It’s too early to start thinking about Europe, we need to keep our feet on the ground. The Coach surprised us by being able to sit in the dugout today and we gave him a gift, we manage to do something extra every time he’s with us. We’re a team that always tries to attack, which is why we perhaps concede a few. The own goal? It can happen, the important thing is we won. I can imagine that the fans are happy, we’ll celebrate with them if they come to Casteldebole tomorrow. But then it’ll be time to get back to work in order to prepare for our next match.”
