Saputo to Sky: “I expect to see a Bologna side with ‘fire and desire'”

Club Chairman Joey Saputo spoke to Sky Sport at the MLS All Star Game about Bologna going into the new season.

“We want to do better every year, last year was difficult as we dropped points that we shouldn’t have let slip. Now, there’s a new Coach and he’s certainly expecting to have a better season. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to see the team in person but from what I’ve heard from the guys, there’s enthusiasm and they’re convinced they can do well. A good landmark would be to hit 50 points. Away from Filippo Inzaghi who has lots of will and determination, all of Bologna will show much more ‘fire and desire’ this year. We have various players with Serie A experience and they know what is needed in this league. To aim for 50 points would be good and I hope we can do it.”
