Petkovic: “Bologna is a big opportunity for me”

Bruno Petkovic was presented to the press for the first time as a Bologna player following his transfer from Trapani. “My back problem is almost behind me but in terms of conditioning, I’m still a bit behind which is normal as Serie B is one or two levels below this,” he said. “I’m working hard to reach the rest of the team’s level. Bologna is certainly a very big opportunity for me, I’m happy to be back in Serie A after four years and I hope to make a big leap in quality. I’m a forward who’s happy to play in any role up front but it all depends on the gaffer and I’ll make myself available to him and see where he puts me. I think I will need to learn to improve my movement having come from Serie B to Serie A where the defenders are a lot better. I saw on Tuesday that it’s a team that runs a lot and I want to make contribution in terms of my movement.”
