Paz’s career so far

The thirteenth Argentine player in our history, Nehuen Paz is a left-footed central defender. He’s an alert marker who is often able to get in first and win the ball ahead of his opponent. At 24 years of age, he already has five seasons in the Primera Division behind him where’s he shone as a stopper with good vision and ability to launch attacks with his precise passing. Capable in the challenge thanks to his long limbs, he’s looking to play more cleanly and avoid being too rough.

After making his debut at All Boys in Buenos Aires, he moved a long way north to Rosario and historic club Newell’s Old Boys. A consistent starter this season before his final appearance on 3rd December, he was used as a left-sided centre-back in a back four and was comfortable in the role.

He already has had a brief taste of football in Europe from his time at the All Boys Academy when he took part in the Viareggio Cup in February 2013 where he dealt with the likes of Cristante and Petagna for Milan who he kept under control well. From January 2018, he’s joined the Rossoblu on a permanent basis.
