Our Jersey Partners

Tradition and continuity on the Bologna jersey in the 2021/22 season. In fact, for this season, Facile Ristrutturare, Selenella, Illumia and Scala will be the four partners to appear on the Rossoblù kit as a Main partner, Second partner, Back jersey partner and Sleeve partner, while Macron will be the technical partner for the twentieth consecutive year.

“The re-appointment of the jersey partners is a source of great satisfaction for the Club, a sign that a solid bond has been created between these companies and Bologna FC based on shared ethical, human and sporting values”, declared Claudio Fenucci, CEO of Bologna.

“Today we are very happy to announce the continuation of the synergies with the jersey partners who supported us throughout last season”, commented Christoph Winterling, marketing and commercial director for Bologna. “We are always oriented towards creating long-term understandings with our partners that allow us to grow together. These renewals confirm the trust that the companies have placed in the Club, it’s a sign that supporting the Rossoblu is a winning investment for them”.

For the second year running, the Main partner will be Facile Ristrutturare, whose logo will stand out on the chest of the Rossoblù players. The company of the Renovars S.p.a Group, which has over 72 offices throughout the country, five showrooms, over 7,000 affiliated professionals, and 6,000 construction sites closed each year, has chosen to continue their partnership with the Club by relying on an important sharing of values and a mutual outlook, including the team spirit that guides the players and professionals of the group in their respective fields of action.

“After important partnerships in the world of football, we are proud to confirm Facile Ristrutturare will be the Main Partner of the Bologna jersey for next season”, declared Giovanni Di Ieso, Chairman, CEO and CFO of the Renovars Group. “In 2014, the Company opened its first store in the heart of Bologna and it is from that moment on that the process of continuous growth began which still guides the group towards increasingly ambitious goals not only in Italy but also abroad. As protagonists on the pitch and in the various dedicated areas within the stadiums, we want to continue to invest and grow in the Emilia area where we are about to open a new Renovars Group showroom, which aims for a turnover of €250m in 2021 and an Editba margin of 10%, with over 3,000 square metres where you can find all the answers related to the homeware world”.

Our first season on the Bologna shirt was an undoubtedly positive one despite the Covid situation preventing us from attending the live matches and taking full advantage not only of their visibility but also of their presence on-site”, echoed Massimiliano Malfatti, Commercial Director of Facile Ristrutturare and partner of Renovars Spa. “We fully embrace the innovative and visionary vision of the Emilian team, and we want these colours to blend with the orange of Facile Ristrutturare and the rainbow of the Renovars Group to embark together on a journey capable of making a difference. We hope for the new season to be able to return to the stands with greater involvement of all the Bologna supporters in order to undertake new digital and in-person initiatives, including unpublished contests aimed at creating loyalty among participants, bringing them closer to the world of Facile Ristrutturare. In previous years, before the pandemic, we used to organise inaugurations, events, and entertainment days with the players: Unique events, where the general public can be involved and leave their mark. Next year will be no different!”.

The jersey’s second partner will be Selenella, who have renewed their partnership agreement with Bologna and will appear on Rossoblu chests for the second consecutive season. Selenella is a consortium of producers, co-operatives, and operators from the province of Bologna that have come together with the aim of enhancing the Bolognese horticultural sector and potato production. The Consortium, which represents the standard of excellence in the supply chain from production to trade, now has ten members, which include 320 producers distributed throughout Italy, mainly in Emilia-Romagna. Selenella is a leader in the packaged potato sector with a 20.1% market share value.
The decision to renew our partnership with Bologna represents the evolution of a journey that began last year in the name of the winning combination of sport and nutrition – underlined Massimo Cristiani, president of Selenella-Consorzio Patata Italiana di Qualità – Supporting our city’s team, by also carrying out disclosure projects together with the Club, is an opportunity to share the values of a healthy and balanced diet with fans and their families, based on quality food, and a dynamic and healthy lifestyle”.

The partnership with the Illumia brand continues for the seventh year and will also appear on the team’s kits this season as a Back jersey partner. Illumia, one of the first family businesses in the retail energy and gas market, with 200 employees and an average age of 33 years old, has nearly one billion in turnover and an Ebitda of 26 million, with a portfolio of more than 350,000 customers.

The relationship with Bologna was born from our desire to contribute to the growth of the city’s team, but over time it has become a partnership that goes far beyond mere sponsorship”, commented Marco Bernardi, President of Illumia. “We are really happy to be the longest-serving partner the team has had in its history, together we have faced, and will face, exciting moments and more difficult situations, but tenacity and courage have united Illumia and Bologna from the beginning. Our next challenge is called sustainability: We have several initiatives that we will be developing together next season, and we can’t wait to be able to share them with all the Bologna fans”.

The Scala brand will be visible on the left sleeve of the matchday jersey, in what will be its second season as Sleeve sponsor. Scala has been present for over 80 years in Italian homes, combining tradition and innovation. In fact, Scala, a 100% Italian brand, has been on the market since the early 1940s with a wide range of household cleaning products, recognised and appreciated for their effectiveness and reliability.

“We have decided to take to the pitch together with the Bologna players again for next season, with the Scala brand consolidating a relationship based on the values that unite us: Historicity, a bond with the territory, and the pursuit of excellence”, declared Francesco Canè, Administrator Delegate of Deco Industrie, the Scala brand’s parent company. “Many initiatives have been born and will continue to be born from this partnership, informing our ‘fans/consumers’ of this special bond, and therefore we can’t wait to get going again”.
The technical partner will be Macron, a leading international company in the teamwear sector, now in its twentieth season alongside the Rossoblù. The bond between Bologna and Macron is one that began in 2001, and which can be considered, among technical sponsorships, as one of the longest-lived in the Italian and international football scene.

“It’s really exciting to think that it has been 20 years of partnership between Macron and Bologna,” said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “A relationship that we can no longer call just a partnership. There is a great relationship of friendship and trust, which over the years has allowed us to develop important projects and beautiful jerseys that have helped tell the story of one of the most important and decorated clubs in Italy. The story is of the club as well as the city it represents, as can be seen from the textures of this year’s home and away shirts, which incorporate historical symbols with the design and technical features of the future. The future must be built with respect for and protection of the environment, and the Bologna FC 1909 jerseys, being made of Eco-Softlock, a fabric with yarn from recycled plastic, include a message of attention and sensitivity to the theme of environmental sustainability. It is a mission in which we must all take part, and I believe that “We are one”, the motto of Bologna, is perfect for describing the unity of purpose and ideas that have been represented by these 20 years together”.
