Thiago Motta spoke following the game away to Monza:

“It is bigger than me, I can’t stay quiet. We can count four separate refereeing incidents in six games that have decided the result, and we speak with them every week, they always call on us to talk to them. But what do these meetings achieve? I apologise to our fans for losing my manners but we cannot go on like this. Today was unbelievable, but Saelemaekers also shouldn’t have reacted in that way and he has already apologised to his teammates. Bologna and Monza tried to play out the game with good football, but the third team on the pitch tonight was ridiculous, unbelievable”.
