Mattiello: “An even match and a fair result”

Mattiello spoke following today’s match and had this to say: “Regardless of where we are in the league, we’ve managed to get an important point against a strong side. Personally, it wasn’t easy to keep up with the pace after being injured for a month, but when the coach calls on me I’m here for him. It was an even match, and the result is a fair reflection of what happened on the pitch. I know that we’ve dropped down the table after the results of other teams, but I’m convinced the table should be looked at with the long term in mind. We’ve been getting better on the pitch and the tables will turn. Now we have to focus on ourselves and continue to work hard.”
