Inzaghi: “We’re undermining the good things that we’re building”

Filippo Inzaghi’s comments after today’s 2-2 draw at Chievo:

“Like in the previous matches, we took an early lead and then missed a chance to make it 2-0 a few minutes later through Palacio. Then, we weren’t fortunate with the goals against. It’s disappointing because we’re often undermining the good things that we’re building but that’s obviously how it has to go. I’m not sure about the penalty, their second goal came from a strange situation with how the shot went from Obi. I don’t think that we got what we deserved but we can’t look back. The reaction in the second half was positive today as was the spirit of those who came on, that’s what I want to see from my guys. What’s not going well is that we can’t finish teams off and we’re often made to pay from the first chance we give up.”
