Illumia to continue as Back Jersey Partner for 2018-19 season

Bologna Fc 1909 and local utilities company Illumia today announced the renewal of their partnership for the 2018-19 season. It will be the fourth consecutive season together for the two organisations.  Next season, the Illumia logo will be represented on the team’s kits in their role as Back Jersey Partner.

In sponsoring Bologna, Illumia further enhances its already strong relationship with the local area. The partnership has also led to many charitable endeavours. Among these, there have been multiple social and sporting engagements with many of the city’s main businesses to help raise almost €200,000 for charitable organisations in Bologna.

“In these years, our client base and exposure has grown but above all, our desire to support Bologna even more has grown. There are a lots of benefits from this sponsorship deal but in particular I like to think of the close relationship with the club, there’s a desire to take on the giants whoever they may be and to do so in a bold manner,” said Illumia President Marco Bernardi. “We’re also going through a lot of changes thanks to the liberalisation of the electricity market. We’re ready for this leap in quality and let’s hope that it’s a chance to add to the energy brought by Inzaghi.”
