De Silvestri’s post-match comments

Lorenzo de Silvestri spoke following the game: “After Udine we wanted to show our character, especially to ourselves. We didn’t deserve a defeat, we played a good second half from the character point of view, fighting until the end. Genoa was good in defence but we had many chances after the break. I am happy, I really wanted to play: before coming on I said to the gaffer that I would score at the far post. You can learn a lot from games like these where you believe until the very end. Now we have another dream, Tuesday we will go to Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia, it is an opportunity, we will play with great desire.
