Calafiori assists crucial equaliser in Croatia 1-1 Italy

Riccardo Calafiori provided the assist for Italy’s 98th-minute equaliser against Croatia last night. The Rossoblù defender provided for Zaccagni whose goal secured a draw that sees the Azzurri through to the Euro 2024 round of 16.

The next game for the Italy National Team will be in Berlin on Saturday at 18:00 CEST where they will face a Switzerland side made up of Dan Ndoye, Remo Freuler and Michel Aebischer. The Azzurri will have to do without Calafiori in this first knockout stage clash due to an accumulation of yellow cards after being booked in the 93rd minute against Croatia.
