Bigon: “Everyone must take a share of the blame for Bologna only having 11 points”

Sporting Director Bigon spoke after today’s match:

“The coach still has my backing, but we’re very disappointed with the result: it’s a desperate situation and we absolutely need to improve. Not just Inzaghi, but all of us must take some responsibility, from the team and the club to myself. Everyone must take their share of the blame for Bologna only having 11 points. We’ve played well today. The team is alive and kicking and you can see that they trust the coach: they do what he asks them to do. It’s been a long time since we’ve produced a performance like we did today. But despite playing well we haven’t got anything out of the game, so we’re left examining our conscience. We are working passionately but it’s not enough, we have to do more and we have to do better. The league table? We find ourselves talking about good performances but no points, and this is the thing which concerns me the most. We’re disappointed for the fans, who get behind us for 90 minutes despite everything that is happening. We’ll reflect on things in the next few days so we can get back on our feet against Milan. The we’ll try to further fix things by taking advantage of the January transfer market.”
