Barrow’s career so far

He’s the second Gambian player to play for Bologna in the Club’s history. Musa is a quick and mobile centre forward blessed with physical and athletic capabilities. He’s been in Italy since the summer of 2016, when he joined Atalanta’s youth setup. Under both Bonacina and Brambilla, he demonstrated a keen eye for goal and versatility up front while playing for the La Dea’s Primavera side. His excellent right foot was on full display during the 2017 Viareggio Tournament before he burst onto the scene the following season, scoring 19 goals in 15 league games for the youth team. His form earned him Gasperini’s trust, with the Atalanta Coach playing him in the Coppa Italia (his debut came against Juventus on 30/1/2018) and Serie A (his first match in the Italian top flight came in February against Crotone, while he scored his first goal in April against Benevento).

Barrow is particularly adept at using his remarkable speed in open spaces and attacking deep in the opposition half (often behind the defensive line), and he showed no fear during two-and-a-half seasons in the Italian top flight with Atalanta, despite having to compete with the likes of Petagna, Cornelius, Zapata and Muriel. During his time at La Dea, he scored a hat-trick against Sarajevo in the Europa League and played for his National Team for the first time in September 2018.

He’s now a Rossoblù player on a temporary basis, but there’s the obligation to buy later on.
