Bani’s post-match thoughts

These were Mattia Bani’s words following #BFCCagliari:

“We feel regret. We started well and it was one-way traffic. The goal we conceded came about following a mishit shot, but we weren’t well-placed in defence. Skorupski told me that Joao Pedro jumping over the ball impaired his ability to make a save, but I haven’t watched it back. We’ll now look ahead, there’s an important match on Sunday. Matches serve as training sessions, we’re doing well physically. We won various tackles and imposed ourselves in our duels. We need to get used to the climate, but we’ll slowly get there.”
