Zirkzee’s comments after #SassuoloBFC

Joshua Zirkzee spoke following the draw: “It was a good start to the game: I got the perfect assist from Aebischer and I put it past the keeper, it was all good. I am happy that I scored, but I would have preferred three points: scoring is an amazing feeling but winning as a team is even better. We are strong but Sassuolo is a good side and today they managed to cause us trouble, especially in the second half, so I think we can say it’s a good point. Today we were a bit unlucky in certain moments, like with the offside for my second goal, but we played a good game. We have many talented players and the group has a winning mentality. I don’t feel like there’s a leader of the side: each player has their own responsibilities, especially with the fans who helped us a lot today and made themselves known for the full 90 minutes. They were incredible, we wanted to win for them, to make them happy and keep them dreaming”.
