“We Are One – La Serie” available from 20 February on DAZN

From Monday 20 February on DAZN will be available “We are one – The series”, a production that covers the 2021-22 season of Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna, created by the Rossoblù club and distributed by the leading global sports streaming and entertainment platform. DAZN and Bologna chose 20 February, the day of Mihajlovic’s birthday, who passed away last 16 December, as the release date for the series, dedicated to the memory of the Serbian coach.

All proceeds from the production, starting with the contribution of the partners Facile Ristrutturare and Selenella, will be donated to the Research Institute of Transplantation Immunobiology and Cell Therapy of the Azienda Ospedaliera-Universitaria of Bologna. In addition, through the IBAN IT50F0306902520100000046029 (ACCOUNT: Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria di Bologna; REASON: Donation in favour of the research platform of immunobiology of transplants and cell therapies), everyone will have the opportunity to make a contribution to the Institute.

The series, consisting of five thirty-minute episodes, recounts Bologna’s entire season with unedited images: Mihajlovic’s speeches in the locker room, the daily life of the players, the tensions and moments of joy of a group composed of players of seventeen different nationalities. It is the path – technical, psychological, human – that leads to the construction of a team that knows how to react even to the most unpredictable adversity, that of the forced absence of the coach, hospitalised in the final part of the season, but always in contact, even from a distance, with his boys.
