Vertebroplasty surgery for Skov Olsen

Andreas Skov Olsen underwent a vertebroplasty operation yesterday following a compression fracture on his L2 vertebrae, which occurred during the Iceland vs. Denmark Nations League match on October 11.

The operation was carried out successfully at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institutes of Bologna by Dr Alessandro Gasbarrini.

The player will have three days of rest and will then begin his recovery programme.
