Theate’s thoughts after Empoli stalemate

This is what Theate had to say to DAZN after today’s game: “It wasn’t easy, also because of our current form, but we wanted to start afresh today. We drew 0-0, and keeping a clean sheet is very important from a mental perspective. We entered the pitch with belief, intensity and focus but were unable to score. When you fail to score, you don’t pick up three points. Having said that, we’ve got the right mentality and attitude. I’m sure the goals will come, hopefully as soon as our next match. As for my own game? I use my head and play with a high intensity. This is my style of play and I think the Coach is happy with it.”
