The new Bologna third shirt

Bologna, 4 October 2019. The third kit for the 2019-20 season from the technical sponsor and leading international sports manufacturer Macron has been unveiled. 

The colour green was chosen as a homage to the kit worn when the Club won the Scudetto for the first time in 1925 wearing green. References to the past are all over the kit, with embossed graphics showing club honours on two vertical stripes on the front and rear of the kit.

Stylistically, the kit features a V-neck collar with the backpack reading  “Lo squadrone che tremare il mondo fa”. On the back of the collar, “We Are One” is printed. On the chest, the Macron Hero logo from the Emilian manufacturer is on the right with a commemorative badge for 110 years of history on the left, above the heart.

The kit is completed by black shorts and socks with double green stripes, the Macron Hero on the front and WE ARE ONE on the rear of the socks. The kit is a Slim Fit while micromesh materials make it even lighter and more breathable. 

Like all items from the 2019-20 season, the third kit will be on sale from the macron.com online store, bolognafcstore.com and physical Macron and Bologna Official Stores. The kit will be presented in a special box to mark the 110th anniversary. There are 1909 limited edition, handmade copies of the box which also contains a graphic novel that tells the story of the Bologna third shirt.

Like with all Bologna Fc 1909 teamwear, the kit is marked out by the Macron Hero from the leading international sportswear company. The logo is of the human form and represents dynamism and speed, demonstrating the joy that follows the challenge. An objective reached. As the Macron philosophy goes: “Work hard. Play harder”.
