Santander: “A much-needed win”

Federico Santander also spoke at the end of this evening’s game: “Winning against a great side like Inter was exactly what we needed at this moment. These three points will allow us to gain some confidence and play our upcoming games with a different state of mind. During this week, the new Coach has tried to work on our mental state and assess the players he’s got at his disposal. It’s normal for a new Coach to work on the morale of the players prior to looking at formations, and obviously our morale has been poor recently. My goal? I’m pleased because it helped the team. When I came to Italy for the first time, I had a trial with Inter and experienced this stadium. Therefore, my satisfaction after scoring today is twofold.”
