Rossoblu around the world: Bologna Club London

London’s fan club was founded relatively recently in early autumn 2014 as Bologna were fighting to achieve promotion back from Serie B to Serie A. The first meet-ups took place around the Serie B playoffs at Bar Centrale, 43 Chalk Farm Road in trendy Camden Town in the north of the capital. The hardcore of the club was born from six Italians with the Bolognese Francesca Castelli as president after she moved to London 18 years earlier. For every live viewing, the club is open to loyal fans, the curious and tourists with an interest in watching the Rossoblu while in the city. There were also special showings for Italy matches at Euro 2016. Their management advice? To simply enjoy spending time together over a few beers. Bologna Club London is currently the most important fan club for Rossoblu supporters in ‘exile’ on British soil.
