Orsolini: “The disallowed goal was a horrible blow”

Riccardo Orsolini’s comments after the final whistle. “It’s the second time this year that I’ve had a goal disallowed after it went to VAR [the first was for Atalanta]. It was a horrible blow, we just got back into the game and it looked alright. I’ve seen the replay in the dressing room and I honestly cannot understand why it was disallowed, it seems very dubious to me and I’m really sorry about it. Again today, we just missed a little something to get the points. We played some good football but conceded two goals from two shots and there’s a sense of regret but we have to turn our attention straight to the Juventus game. In these last two games, I’ve played on the right of midfield and on the left and I want to adapt to whatever the Coach asks of me because it means that it helps the team. Bologna is a place that demands effort, sacrifice and an attachment to the shirt. From this point, we have everything in place. We just lack a certain cynicism and ruthlessness in front of goal to get more results. The Coach has recently expressed his evaluation of me and I accept it willingly. We’ve spoken in person and I want to develop and improve in every aspect.”
