Nikola Moro joins Bologna!
Bologna FC 1909 are delighted to announce that midfielder Nikalo Moro has joined the Club on a permanent basis from FC Dynamo Moscow.
Nikola, who becomes the third Croatian to represent Bologna, is naturally right-footed but is also strong with his left. He is technically gifted and, though he prefers to play further up the pitch, he can be deployed anywhere in midfield. He can play as a deep-lying playmaker or in a box-to-box role. He likes to make late runs into the box, sees the game well and is a natural-born leader. He has international experience too as, after rising through the youth ranks, he made his full debut for Croatia a couple of months ago.
A native of Split (born in 1998), he broke through at Dinamo Zagreb at just 17 years of age and went on to win four league titles and three national cups with the club from the Croatian capital. With over 100 appearances for Dinamo to his name, he became a key player for the club in a short space of time. He is an intelligent football with an eye for goal; his late runs into the box make him very hard to predict. He has played in both the Champions League and Europa League with Dinamo, before having to overcome serious ligament damage. Two years ago, he moved to the Russian capital, after just having been included in UEFA’s list of the top 50 young European talents. He went on to make 58 appearances in the Russian Premier League with the Belo-golubye (White-Blues). Now, in August 2022, he is coming to Bologna.
