Motta on the victory over Salernitana

Thiago Motta commented following the first away win of the season: “We were missing success away from home, we have often been close to winning and today we played a great first half, with good football and an optimal defence. We missed out on the 3-0 in the second half, then they managed to get back into the game but we were in charge until the end, and the victory was deserved, with great maturity. You could say we made the most of our chances tonight. Saelemaekers put in a great performance just like his teammates, Alexis has to keep going like this. These lads are good together, they help each other out, I’m sorry for those who don’t get to be as involved but there is always a need for each of them”.
