It was the 1997/98 season, Roberto Baggio had chosen to defend the Rossoblù colours. Bologna’s third kit that season was yellow and that is the shirt that has inspired this season’s effort, which will be worn by Sinisa Mihajlovic’s boys this season. Bologna FC 1909 and Macron – the Hero company and long-time kit provider for the Club – today presented the new third kit, which harkens back to the past but looks to the future. It’s yellow in colour but it’s green at heart. As with all of Bologna’s other kits, the new third kit contains a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment thanks to the fabric used to create it: Eco-Fabric is produced from recycled plastics and is certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

The new third jersey has a crew neck with red-blue piping, a detail also present on the sleeve edges. The back of the neck is detailed with the Club’s colours and the phrase “LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA” (the team that makes the world tremble). The distinguishing feature of the kit is the diagonal red and blue band which begins at the left shoulder and dissipates into a smoke effect at the breast. The Macron Hero is printed on the right of the chest, while the Bologna FC 1909 is printed on the left. The shorts are blue, the socks are yellow with two horizontal red-blue lines and stitching of the word BOLOGNA in the centre and the Macron Hero just below.

The Bologna FC 1909 third kit has a Body Fit wearability and the main fabric used is Eco-PolyStretchLight. The Eco micromesh renders the shirt lighter and more breathable.
