Inzaghi: “We fought for every ball. The table was worrying us before”

This is what Bologna’s coach had to say after the Rossoblu’s 0-0 draw with Fiorentina:

“The team fought for every ball. Orsolini had a great chance in the first half and they hit the post in the final stages, so the result was a fair reflection of the game. It’s disappointing that some of the teams behind us won: it is a worry looking at the table, but the truth is we were worrying about it before. We know full well that we need to win a game to make a small step forward – this is something we need to do. Now we’ve got two difficult away games to play and we can’t afford to make mistakes. It was also the case today that we tried to win with the right attitude. We knew that Fiorentina have good players who can hit you on the counter, and this proved to be the case. We held our own, however. We’re happy about the spirit and fight we displayed right until the very last minute in the rain. Now we’ll continue to search for a victory that will give us a lot of confidence and do wonders for our morale.”
