Inzaghi disappointed after Genoa defeat
Here’s what Coach Inzaghi had to say after Sunday’s defeat:
“It was a painful defeat. I didn’t have the feeling that we would lose and our goalkeeper never had to make an important save. It’s a bad period for us. We had chances to score, with efforts from Svanberg, Orsolini and Okwonkwo, but it was a great goal from Piatek that sealed it. It’s obvious that we need to give something extra, that is despite the chances that we created and the penalty that Orji should’ve had in the first half. The more experienced players need to give something extra, while the new players need to adjust quicker. However, I still have more confidence than before because I see how this group works. We just need a positive result to get us going.”
