Inauguration of the Cesoia mural

This morning on via Paolo Fabbri the inauguration of the mural dedicated to the Cesoia football pitch took place, the ground where Bologna played between 1911 and 1913 before the construction of the Stadio Sterlino. The mural, 33 metres long and made by the writer Rusty (Massimiliano Landuzzi) and was born thanks to the work of the Association dedicated to Rossoblu memory (Associazione Percorsi della Memoria Rossoblù, with the collaboration of the City of Bologna and the contributions of many citizens of Bologna and Bologna FC.

At the ceremony, which took place exactly 110 years after the first match played at the Cesoia (Bologna vs. Vincenza, 3-0, 26 February 1911), Stefano Dalloli, Cristian Ventura and Giuseppe Mugnano of the association were al present, as well as Matteo Lepore, who is in charge of Sport in the city and the president of the San Donato-San Virale neighbourhood, Simone Borsari, alongside Carlo Caliceti, head of communications at Bologna FC.
