Happy Birthday Beppe Signori!

It’s a special day in the Rossoblu house! Today is the 50th birthday of Beppe Signori who was a symbol of Bologna in the Gazzoni era in the 1990s and 2000s and one of the best-loved Rossoblu forwards of the century. Born in Alzano Lombardo (Province of Bergamo), the strong attacker had already finished as Serie A’s top scorer before enjoying a second spell at his peak for the Rossoblu between 1998 and 2004. He made 177 appearances (143 in Serie A, ten in th Coppa Italia, 16 in the UEFA Cup, six in the Intertoto Cup and two in UEFA play-offs against Inter), he also scored 84 goals with 67 in the league, two in the Coppa Italia, nine in the UEFA Cup, five in the Intertoto Cup and one in the UEFA play-off. That tally sees him stand as the 12th most prolific Bologna player ever. Happy Birthday BeppeGol!
